Ignoring God's role in our success is a dangerous place to be, because it puts the full burden of the outcome on our shoulders—and our shoulders just aren't big enough.
Don't get me wrong—I believe in hard work. But I do not believe a farmer who is mature in her faith has any question about where the rain comes from. She can work the land, line up her crops, and plant the seed, but she knows all of that work is meaningless if God doesn’t provide the rain.
