Jesus has killing power. He looked at the fig tree and spoke death to it and the tree died. When one killing force meets another killing force, the lesser killing force must bow. Moses faced Pharaoh and told him that if Pharaoh did not wish to see his face again, it would be so. And it was so.
Goliath was not in that field to play with David. If David did not kill Goliath, Goliath would have killed David. Elijah did not joke with the prophets of Baal; he dealt with them. If he didn't deal with them, they would have dealt with him. If you see anybody who goes to hell fire, the person must have gone there because he failed to kill sin, and that sin which remained alive captured him.

Destroy the Jebusite spirit before it destroys you

2 Samuel 5:8 GNT
[8] That day David said to his men, “Does anybody here hate the Jebusites as much as I do? Enough to kill them? Then go up through the water tunnel and attack those poor blind cripples.” (That is why it is said, “The blind and the crippled cannot enter the Lord's house.”)

Joshua 3:9-10… “And Joshua said unto the children of Israel, Come hither, and hear the words of the LORD your God. And Joshua said, Hereby ye shall know that the living God is among you, and that he will without fail drive out from before you the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Hivites, and the Perizzites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Jebusites” (KJV).

Last lesson we touched on the Amorites, a people who speak against others in order to cast them down, murmur against others, and say something in a wrong spirit.

In this lesson I want to talk about the Jebusites. The word “Jebusite” means “to trod down with the feet, to trample, to put your foot on the neck.” It also means “pollution and defilement of the temple (body, soul, and spirit), or to cast down in order to destroy.

Jebus is an old name for Jerusalem. This clan originally controlled Jerusalem. Israel never expelled them from the Promised Land. King David captured the city and made it the capital of Israel. Later King David purchased a field there and Solomon built the temple on the same site (2 Samuel 24:16-24).

Paul teaches in 1 Corinthians 6 that we are to make sure that these immoral attitudes do not infiltrate the church. Paul said that, in their pre-conversion days, some of the people were fornicators and abusers of themselves with mankind, but God saved them and delivered them from these things and sanctified them (vv. 9-11).

Our bodies, Paul teaches, are the temples of the Holy Spirit. A temple is a place for worship and a place set apart for God. The Jebusite spirit wants to infiltrate your mind and spirit and body. God did not create immorality. When people say, “God made me like I am,” it’s a Jebusite lie.

The Bible teaches that adulterers and fornicators have no inheritance in the kingdom of God (1 Corinthians 6:9-10, Revelation 21:27).

Unless they repent and turn from their sinful ways, they abide in darkness. This is the day to guard the mind and spirit against the lusts of the flesh and the subtle lies perpetuated by means of the media. Are you bound by a Jebusite spirit? Give it the boot. Give it no room in your life.

THE PEACE OF GOD WILL GUARD OUR HEARTS AND MINDS:

Believers in Jesus Christ can have peace in the midst of uncertainties because we have the assurance that our heavenly Father loves His children and cares for our needs (Matt. 6:25-34).

We can bring all our concerns to Him with an attitude of thankfulness, trusting Him to meet our needs and give us peace. (Phil.4:6-7).

"The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus" To say the peace of God surpasses all understanding reveals that we can't explain it, but we can experience it as He guards our hearts and minds.

Our peace comes from the confidence that the Lord love us and He is in control. He alone provides the comfort that settles our nerves, fills our minds with hope, and allows us to relax even in the midst of changes and challenges. Praise be to God!. Amen.

O LORD, SEARCH ME

"Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties."
— Psalm 139:23 (NKJV)

Your heart is the deepest part of you—it guides your thoughts, desires, and decisions. But the Bible clearly states:

"The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it?" — Jeremiah 17:9 (NKJV)

This means you cannot rely solely on your heart. You may think you are doing the right thing or living the right way, but deep inside, there may be hidden desires, concealed sins, or impulses pulling you away from God's will. That is why you need God to search you.

Only god can Reveal what is within You. With your own understanding, you cannot fully know everything that resides in your heart. You might believe you are walking the right path, yet there could be things within you that you have not yet discovered. Some sins hide within habits, thoughts, or even daily decisions. But God sees everything inside you—even what remains unknown to you.

That is why David continued his prayer in this Psalm, saying: "And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting." — Psalm 139:24 (NKJV)

You need God to reveal the crooked paths in your life—those that may seem right to you but ultimately lead to destruction. The Bible warns:

"There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death." — Proverbs 14:12 (NKJV)

Do you realize that you might be following a path that feels right but actually leads to destruction? It could be a decision you made, a mindset you adopted, or a relationship you are holding onto. Without God's revelation, you may continue down that road, unaware of the harm it may bring in the end.

Let God search you today. The choice is yours. Will you allow God to search your heart today? Will you let Him reveal everything hidden within you? And when He does, will you accept His correction? You must approach Him with humility, ready to turn away from any wrong paths, and follow Him faithfully.

God does not reveal your faults to condemn you but to correct you and lead you into the way of everlasting life.

Prayer: O Lord, search me and know my heart. Try me and know my thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in me and lead me in the way everlasting. Guide me, correct me, and cleanse me by Your grace. In Jesus' name, Amen.

I find great inspiration in the story of Caleb, as it powerfully illustrates why God often allows battles to arise in our lives.

Caleb faithfully served God as a leader of his tribe through the 40 wilderness years of Israel. However, on the eve of the fulfilment of God's promise to him and his family, he faced his greatest challenge yet: to take Hebron from the Canaanites [Joshua 14]. The scripture says through Caleb's leadership giants were expelled from the land.

We can learn from Caleb's story that the fulfillment of God's promise was not going to happen without a battle, and it would require the greatest test of his faith and dependence on God.

Are you facing battles of life? Don't be stressed or discouraged. It must be a test of your faith and dependency upon God. Don't lose focus – continue your journey with God.

MIDNIGHT PRAYERS TO BREAK FAMILY CURSES WORKING AGAINST YOUR FRUITFULNESS.

These prayers is to be prayed from 12midnight your local time. After these prayers every family curse working against your fruitfulness shall be broken in Jesus name.

BIBLE CONFESSION: 2 Cor 10:3-5, Galatians 3:13-14, colossians 2:14-15, Isaiah 65:15, psalm 109:28, Deutronomy 23:5.

Nehemiah 13:2
Because they met not the children of Israel with bread and with water, but hired Balaam against them, that he should curse them: howbeit our God turned the curse into a blessing.

Curses, be it generational, ancestral, household, marine, they are very dangerous. The above Bible verses should give you the direction on how to break the family curses. Breaking inherited curses is very important for your deliverance. It requires lots of deliverance prayers. If for example, you notice that your family worships idols, waters, and perform other unholy activities then that’s the more reason you should go for deliverance. Because failure to address it may leave you with generational bondage and sorrow. I pray, may that not be your portion, in Jesus name. In some families, it is very common to see anger, bitterness in prevalent among the women. This is not a God given attitude, it is an evil inheritance. They inherited it perhaps from their mother to slow them down and shatter their marital hope to pieces. A woman who has anger spirit will keep her from getting married on time let alone a married woman having constant issues with her husband. This is what bloodline curses can do to innocent children!

Meditation:

This verse is part of the account where the risen Jesus appears to His disciples. After sharing the truth of His resurrection and demonstrating how all Scripture points to Him, Jesus performs a crucial act: He opens their minds so they can fully understand the message of the Scriptures.

Reflections:

1. The necessity of divine revelation:
Understanding Scripture is not merely an intellectual exercise; it is a gift from God. Jesus Himself must open our minds and hearts to grasp the true meaning of His Word. This reminds us to pray for spiritual discernment.


2. Scripture reveals Christ:
Jesus shows that everything written—from the Law of Moses to the Prophets and the Psalms—points to Him. The Bible is not just a book of rules or stories but a revelation of salvation through Christ.


3. Spiritual transformation:

A Son is given

"For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."
