Some people only love you when you’re easy to control. The most dangerous people are the ones who hide cruelty behind charm. Trust actions, not appearances.
LISTEN Fake friends are like shadows: always near you at your brightest moments but nowhere to be seen at your darkest hour. One verse that comes to mind is
Psalm 55:12-14, “If an enemy were to insult me, I could endure it; if a foe were to rise up against me, I could hide. But it is you, a man my equal, companion and acquaintance. We used to have sweet fellowship together; we walked with the crowd in the house of God."
