Earthly comforts are not permanent gifts, but rather temporary loans from God. Everything we possess belongs to Him, and He has the right to take back what is rightfully His. Therefore, we must not complain when God decides to take away what He has lent us. In a world that is filled with thorns and briars, we must be prepared to experience pain and sorrow. The world is full of thieves, deceivers, and slanderers, business losses, unfulfilled expectations, false or fickle friends, sickness, and death, and thus our joys can be stolen. We must always remember our Master's warning not to hold onto treasures on earth, as they can be destroyed by moth, rust, or theft (Matthew 6:19).

We must hold all things loosely, as though we did not possess them, and view them as temporary. We should never make mortal things our gods, for if we do, our hearts will be broken when they are taken away, and we will cry out like Micah, "You have taken away my gods which I made" (Judges 18:24).

Therefore, let us be confident in our faith and prepared to face whatever challenges may come our way, knowing that God is always with us.

Hello, everyone. Thank you for joining me today for this session on the power of meditation on the word of God. Meditation can help us reduce stress, improve our mental health, and enhance our spiritual growth.

But what does it mean to meditate on the word of God? And why is it important for us as Christians? To meditate on the word of God means to read, study, memorize, and apply the scriptures to our lives. It means to think deeply and prayerfully about what God is saying to us through his word, and to let it transform our hearts and minds. Meditation on the word of God is important because it helps us to know God better, to love him more, and to obey him more faithfully. It also helps us to resist temptation, to renew our minds, and to grow in faith and wisdom.

The Bible is full of examples and commands to meditate on the word of God. For instance, in Joshua 1:8, God tells Joshua: "This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success." In Psalm 1:2, the blessed man is described as one who "delights in the law of the Lord, and in his law he meditates day and night." In Psalm 119:97, the psalmist declares: "Oh, how I love your law! - Second, we need to choose a passage of scripture to meditate on. It can be a verse, a chapter, or a book of the Bible. It can be something that we are studying, something that we are memorizing, or something that God has put in our hearts. The important thing is to have a clear and specific portion of scripture to meditate on.
- Third, we need to read and reread the passage of scripture, and ask ourselves some questions to help us understand and apply it. For example, we can ask ourselves: What does this passage teach me about God? What does this passage teach me about myself? What does this passage teach me about my relationship with God and others? What does this passage command me to do or not to do? What does this passage promise me or warn me about? What does this passage inspire me or challenge me to be or do? The important thing is to have a thoughtful and prayerful interaction with the word of God.
- Fourth, we need to pray and praise God for what he has revealed to us through his word. We can thank him for his love, his grace, his wisdom, and his power. Every seasonal problem in my life that has refused to let me go, expire by fire, in the name of Jesus.

I kill all strange animals sent against me in the dream with the sword of the Lord, in the name of Jesus.

Let the power of God knock down any strongman attacking me , in the name of Jesus.

O God, before their eyes could open I must have gotten to my Promise Land, in the name of Jesus.

Every ancestral stone,rock or mountain, blocking my progress, my promotion, my marriage, ROLL AWAY BY FIRE, in the name of Jesus.

Household Goliath that has vowed that I will not move forward, hear the word of the Lord, receive the stone of fire, in the name of Jesus.

I refuse to be wasted this year in the name of Jesus.

The depth and significance of God's love for us can only be truly understood when viewed through the lens of Calvary. It is at the cross where the love of God finds its ultimate meaning and purpose, a love that is boundless and eternal. The sacrifice made by Jesus on the cross goes beyond simply giving us peace and a sense of purpose in life; it is a profound act that saves us from the righteous anger of God and reconciles us with a holy God who was separated from us because of our sins.

At the core of Calvary is the ransom Jesus paid to redeem us from the punishment and eternal destruction that awaited us. His selfless sacrifice demonstrates the magnitude of His love for us, as He willingly took upon Himself the weight of our sins. Through His death, we, who were deserving of God's wrath, were granted the grace to become heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ. It is through His sacrifice that we can experience true freedom and salvation.

Our understanding and appreciation of God's love are intertwined with our reverence and fear of Him. The more we comprehend His infinite majesty, holiness, and transcendent glory, the more we are in awe of His love displayed at Calvary. As we dive deeper into the depths of His love, we are humbled by the magnitude of His grace and mercy towards us. We can't help but stand in wonder and amazement at the lengths God went to save us.

Conversely, the deeper our perception of His love, the greater our reverence becomes. To truly honour God, we must acknowledge both His goodness and His holiness, giving Him the glory and respect He deserves. It is in this balance of awe and gratitude that we find true worship and devotion to our Heavenly Father.

This sentiment is beautifully captured in the words of the psalmist who declared, "If you, O Lord, kept a record of sins, O Lord, who could stand? But with you there is forgiveness; therefore you are feared" (Psalm 130:3-4). The psalmist understood the power of God's forgiveness and worshipped Him with both reverence and awe. In our pursuit of godliness, it is essential to cultivate a healthy fear of God while continually seeking a deeper understanding of His love. These two aspects form the foundation of our devotion to Him.

Father, turn every expectation of my mockers to disappointment in the name of Jesus.

Father, every arrow of public mockery and reproach assigned against my life back fires now, in Jesus's name.

Father, I want to thank you for the gift of another month in the name of Jesus Christ.

Lord, I pray and sanctify each day of the new month by the blood of Jesus.

Father, I pray and ask that you order my steps right all through the new month in Jesus name. Let my steps be ordered in the path of peace and of righteousness in Jesus' name. (Psalm 119:113)

Father, I pray and declare that the sun will shine for my good this new month, the rain will fall for my good this new month, the forces of the day and night will work to favor me this new month inJesus's name. (Psalm 19:1-2)

Lord, I declare in the name of Jesus Christ that no weapon formed against me this new month shall prosper, in Jesus name (Isaiah 54:17)

I declare Lord that the heavens are open unto me for good, grace, glory and favor this new month in the name of Jesus Christ. (Matthew 3:16)
