Apostolic Life ( Prayer Warriors)'s Post

Others are in the mortuary but by God’s grace we are alive. Others have no cars no houses but by God’s grace I have them.

God’s grace that has given us all that we have.

(Deut 16:16-17) You shall not appear before the Lord empty handed. You shall give according to the blessing of the Lord your God which He has given you.

2. KINGDOM GIVING IS AN ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF STEWARDSHIP 1Cor. 4:1, 7.

Everything we have, including the breath we breath,is a gift of God. All we have belongs to God. When we give we are not doing the church any favor. We are not doing God any favor. We are giving back to the owner what belongs to him. As stewards we are managers not owners. We are caretakers.
PSA 24:1. Haggai 2:9

3. KINGDOM GIVING IS THE BAROMETER OF ONE’S SPIRITUAL LEVEL 2 Cor 8:1-7
Your giving is the barometer for measuring your level of maturity.

As you grow in the spirit you grow in giving.

You cannot grow in the spirit and not grow in giving.

The Characteristics Of A Baby
It is characteristic of babies to hold on to toys ,sweets and things. They don’t want to share. They refuse to give you even what you bought for them. So as you grow in t\he Lord you grow in giving

4. KINGDOM GIVING FLOWS FROM A RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD Gen 28:13-22
Where there is no relationship there is no sharing of things.

Your giving demonstrates the quality of your relationship with God.

Abraham had a personal relationship with God.
He was a friend of God.

Wherever he had an encounter with God he built an altar and gave a sacrifice.

PSA 50:5

5. GIVING IS SOWING Luke 6:38, 2 Cor 9:5-11)
I have seen people who view giving as losing.

They complain that zvemari zvanyanya in the church.

But when people were giving money to prostitutes every time they did not complain.

When people were drinking beer they did not complain.

When they were paying ngangas they did not complain. When they were taking care of children of their small house they did not complain.
When they were paying rents for small houses they did not complain.

When they were buying micheka yemidzimu they did not complain

This is a spirit that wants us to be poor.

The spirit of poverty manifests In stinginess.

The spirit of poverty manifest in complaining whenever giving is talked about in the church
Eccl 11:1-6, Prov 11:24-25

6. GIVING IS THE NATURE OF GOD
When we talk about giving we are introducing DNA tests
God has given life to everything that lives on earth. His sun, the rains, good health, material blessings etc. above all He gave us Jesus His only begotten son. As christians we area partakes of the divine nature. Giving must be our nature (2 Pet 1:4) Giving is the DNA of a real christian. Human nature is selfish. Human nature wants to horde. Human nature wants to amass for self.

7. GIVING ATTRACTS BLESSINGS (Acts:20:35)
It is more blessed to,give than to receive
Blessing means to be supernaturally empowered to prosper
To be anointed to prosper
To be given supernatural power to make it in life.

Prov 10:22 The blessing of God makes rich

Giving Avails All Grace (2 Cor 9: 8). Grace in all areas and all aspects of life. This is special grace for abundance and sufficiency in all things in order for us to be able to do good works.

8. WHAT YOUR GIFT WILL DO FOR YOU

Gideon Judges 6:20-22; 7:9-15

King Solomon 1 Kings 3:4-5

The gift of the widow of Zarephath worked for her

The gift of the Shunemite woman worked for her

The gift of Cornelius worked for him

CONCLUSION

We are children of the kingdom. We belong to the kingdom. We are agents of the kingdom. Our giving is a response to the grace of God.

Our giving is an acknowledgment of the blessings that God has given us.

Giving is an acknowledgment of our stewardship

Giving is the barometer of our spiritual level and maturity

Giving flows from our relationship with God

Giving is the nature of God

Giving attracts blessings

Giving brings all grace.

Decide to be a giver

Give to projects in the church because the church is the vehicle of the God’s kingdom
