Reproach hath broken my heart, and I am full of heaviness: and I looked for some to take pity, but there was none, and for comforters, but I found none. [21] They gave me also gall for my meat; and in my thirst, they gave me vinegar to drink.
—Psalm 69:20-21 KJV

When you are depressed it is not wise to turn to money or to resort to the abuse of substances such as alcohol to ease your pain.
The word reproach as used in the scripture connotes despair, pain and shame. When you experience such, you need to know the right person to approach.
You need SOMEONE who can take pity on you, and as a believer, you must know that, that SOMEONE is JESUS.
He was anointed for the broken-hearted. Cast your burden on him today. Stress, heaviness or depression is not your portion because JESUS LOVES YOU!
SHALOM!
